40 minutes from Edinger Avenue and Harbor Boulevard to Pacific Coast Highway and Warner Avenue on weekdays; and 40 minutes on entire route on weekends. Improve OTP on weekdays. Less frequent service on weekends. Discontinue segment on Jamboree Road and Ford Road to NTC. Add one trip for school. Extend route to FP&R via Interstate 5.

Effective Sunday, August 11, 2024, the buses on Route 38 will service Los Cerritos Center. Additionally, service to the Anaheim Hills Festival Shopping Center will be discontinued and end at Esperanza and Fairlynn in the City of Anaheim.

This summer, OCTA will introduce a paperless fare payment system that will allow riders to pay only for rides taken rather than the fixed dollar amount on paper passes. Called Wave, it will include a new account-based system, a reloadable smart card, and a new mobile app.

Cities and the county can propose projects through both competitive programs, which are funded by OC Go, Orange County’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements, also known as Measure M. Project applications are due by October. 20, 2022 and are expected to be selected in spring 2023.

OCFundtracker is the online database for the TIP in Orange County and the means by which project revisions are processed. An updated system has been released, and major changes are reviewed in the Tutorial and Amendment Guide.

OCTA will launch a new contactless fare payment system in October to make riding OC Bus and the upcoming OC Streetcar easier, more affordable and more convenient.
