Since 1991 OCTA has kept residents and commuters moving throughout Orange County by bus, freeway, rail, bike, walking, and rideshare programs.

The Orange County Transportation Authority will offer free rides on OC Bus, on Earth Day (Tuesday, April 22). No pass will be needed to hop aboard any regular bus route at any time that day.

The OC Streetcar is being constructed in coordination with the cities of Santa Ana and Garden Grove, the California Department of Transportation, and the Federal Transit Administration.

Measure M is also known as OC Go. The updated Next 10 Plan outlines how OCTA will deliver $5.6 billion in transportation improvements over the next decade through Measure M.

One of Orange County’s favorite events, the OC Fair, returns to Costa Mesa from July 14 through August 13. The best way to get there is by OC Bus on one of four routes – 47, 55, 71 & 178. Each provides safe, efficient, and air-conditioned service to the OC Fairgrounds.

OCTA’s noteworthy accomplishments during the past 30 years include: Major expansions of Orange County freeways, improving traffic flow on Interstate 5, widened from six to 10 lanes, and improvements to State Routes 55, 22 and 91, among others. Metrolink commuter rail was added to Orange County.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (Authority) invites proposals from qualified firms to provide OC ACCESS eligibility assessments and transit support services. The budget for this project is $5,347,779 for an initial 3-year term.

At the heart of OCTA’s bus system is our network of 60 bus routes. They include local and community routes, express routes, and our Stationlink service that connects Orange County Metrolink stations with major employment centers.
