One of Orange County’s favorite events, the OC Fair, returns to Costa Mesa from July 14 through August 13. The best way to get there is by OC Bus on one of four routes – 47, 55, 71 & 178. Each provides safe, efficient, and air-conditioned service to the OC Fairgrounds.

Beginning Oct. 11, OCTA’s bus service change will include some minor schedule and route adjustments. Schedule adjustments were made to the following routes: 1, 25, 26, 29, 33, 42, 43, 46, 47, 50, 54, 57, 59, 64, 66, 76, 83, 87, 90, 91, 490, 543 and 721. Route adjustments will occur on Routes 43, 57, and 490.

Transferring from Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) • ART fare media is accepted on OC Bus routes 29, 30, 33, 35, 37, 38, 42, 43, 46, 47, 50, 53, 54, 56, 57, 71, 83, 167, 453 and 543 (all stops where OC Bus directly connect with ART buses).

Although the OC Fair Express is not available this year, regular OC Bus routes that run to the OC Fair include 47, 55, 71, and 178. The theme of this year’s fair is Happy Together, and that applies to transportation options, too.
