The description of this project is removing, furnishing, and/or installing traffic equipment and infrastructure. New traffic equipment for installation includes pull boxes, conduit, traffic controllers, accessible pedestrian signals, pedestrian signal heads, CCTV cameras, and TMC workstations. Work will also include upgrading communications along some segments to fiber optic.
In the past six months, more than 1 million trips have been taken on OC Bus with OCTA’s Youth Ride Free and college pass programs. In addition, approximately 85% of riders use OC Bus as their primary means of transportation.
