Stress Less, Ride More: Free Trolleys Make Summer Travel Simple
Looking for a hassle-free way to enjoy Orange County’s beautiful beaches and coastal towns this summer? Take advantage of the free trolley services available in Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, San Clemente, and San Juan Capistrano. These trolleys offer convenient, reliable transportation with multiple routes running every 15 to 30 minutes, making it easy to explore shops, parks, beaches, festivals, and restaurants.
Many trolleys connect to one another and stop at Metrolink stations so you can extend your adventure across several destinations. Make a day of it and enjoy!
These free services operate through Labor Day and beyond in some cities and are partially funded by Measure M, Orange County’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements.

Share Your Thoughts on Safeguarding the San Clemente Rail Line
We’re studying potential solutions that will safeguard rail operations near San Clemente and would like to hear your thoughts. Both Metrolink and the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner use this section of rail and we’re working to make it safe for generations to come.
Please join us for a webinar that seeks input on OCTA’s Coastal Rail Resiliency Study (CRRS) and evaluates strategies to keep trains running along seven miles of vulnerable coastline between Dana Point and the San Diego County line.
