Special Metrolink Bike Cars

For those who just can't be without their bike, riding Metrolink is an easy way to continue your trip on two wheels. To meet the growing demand from cyclists for additional bicycle storage space on trains, Metrolink has introduced special Bike Cars. They're cars specially designed to hold up to 18 bicycles on the lower level. No bike permits are needed. The Bike Cars provide a user-friendly experience for cyclists who ride their bikes to and from a Metrolink station.

Metrolink has added 12 new Bike Cars as part of its green initiatives program to accommodate more bicycles on selected trains. The lower level of the new Bike Cars will be equipped with six stalls that hold three bicycles each. Bike Cars are identified by a yellow "Bicycle Car" decal on the side of the train or bicycle train wrap.
