Overview The Federal Transit Administration has completed the fiscal year 2023 triennial review of the Orange County Transportation Authority. The purpose of the review is to evaluate compliance with grant requirements and management practices as they relate to the use of federal funds. No deficiencies were found in any of the 23 areas reviewed.
In addition to Caltrans‐maintained park‐and‐ride lots, OCTA maintains park‐and‐ride lots throughout the County and supports the Guaranteed Ride Home Program. OCTA provides trip planning tools on their website and on the phone through the new 5‐1‐1 service.
Connect OC-LA also considers transportation needs for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The Honda Center will host events within Orange County, while connections to LA County venues in Long Beach, South Bay, and Downtown Los Angeles will need additional special event mobility services.

A new bus route, Route 123, will replace Routes 21 and 24 from Anaheim to Huntington Beach. The new Route 123, will run from the Anaheim Canyon Metrolink station, west through Fullerton and Buena Park, then southwest on Valley View and Bolsa Chica streets to Huntington Beach.
