With a vanpool, you just sit back, read, work, chat and enjoy the ride. Because vanpools can use carpool lanes, it's a fast ride, too. Catch your ride at a central location near your home and your vanpool takes you directly to work. |

A $400 per month subsidy OCTA now works with vanpool companies to make vanpooling even more affordable. Apply, be accepted into the program, and will OCTA will subsidize your vanpool up to $400 per month. Here's how to participate:
- Start with a group of 5 to 15 riders
- Begin the ride in Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino or Los Angeles counties
- Commute to work in Orange County

- Be open to accept riders from neighboring employers
- Maintain minimum occupancy requirements
- Provide monthly ridership reports to OCTA

Get your vanpool up and rolling Follow these steps to create a successful vanpool program at your company:
- Find out what additional benefits your employer may provide
- Select a vanpool company
- Work with your employer and vanpool company to find riders
- Get the word out about the benefits of vanpooling
- Set a start date
