Signal synchronization demonstration projects are successful
Two roads served as demonstration projects in preparation for this project. You can experience traffic light synchronization throughout the entire length of Euclid Street and Oso Parkway/Pacific Park Drive.

  • 15 miles – six cities worked together with OCTA and Caltrans
  • 62 traffic signals synchronized
  • 50,000 vehicles per day travel through the corridor
  • $450,000 to implement synchronization

RESULTS

  • 20% improvement in travel time
  • 41% reduction in stops
