West County Connectors
(SR-22 / I-405 / I-605)

The West County Connectors (WCC) project, which traverses through the cities of Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, the community of Rossmoor, Westminster and Garden Grove, will extend the current Garden Grove Freeway (SR-22) widening from Valley View Street to the San Gabriel Freeway (I-605).

The WCC project, currently in final design, was initiated by the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), in partnership with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), to link high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes, otherwise known as carpool lanes, on the San Diego Freeway (I-405) with those on the SR-22 and I-605.
