| This gauges the amount of stimulus dollars used in Orange County to enhance transportation. |
The Orange County Transportation Authority has launched this site to provide the public with the latest information on Orange County’s progress in delivering on transportation solutions from the American Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The site contains maps of specific projects and progress updates so you know how much of your tax dollars are used for specific projects, the status of the project and how many jobs they will preserve or create.
This site also will be utilized to fulfill federal reporting and accountability in providing the highest level of transparency for the public. These are your tax dollars at work in Orange County. And you have the right to know how it’s being invested.
We are working hard to secure Orange County’s fair share of federal stimulus funds to help deliver traffic solutions – freeway widenings, transit improvements and local transportation enhancements – for your community.
Orange County is ready to work immediately to build much-need infrastructure projects that will deliver congestion relief and preserve or create thousands of jobs to help turn around our nation’s struggling economy.
