Route Restructuring and Options

Routes 29, 43, 47, 53 and 59 in North Orange County, and Route 70 in South Orange County, will continue but will be shortened. Four new routes will be created — 90, 129, 143 and 153. By shortening longer routes, more buses can stay on schedule along the route. The new routes will connect with the shortened routes and transfers may be necessary for some passengers. The purchase of a Day Pass may be necessary. Bike racks are installed on all OCTA buses. You’ll find a detailed description of the restructured routes and maps in this section.

New Routes

New Routes	Description
90	New Route 90 will operate between the Tustin Metrolink Station and Dana Point along Edinger, Irvine Center, Moulton and Golden Lantern.
129	New Route 129 will run between La Habra and northeast Anaheim via La Habra, Brea, Birch (into and through the Brea Mall) and Kraemer, to La Palma and Kraemer.
143	The northern most segments of Routes 43 and 47 will be combined into the new Route 143 connecting La Habra, Fullerton Transportation Center and Brea Mall. The new route will travel via Whittier, Harbor, Commonwealth, Fullerton Transportation Center, Lemon, Brea to Brea Mall.
153	The new Route 153 will operate between Main and Katella and Brea Mall via Main, Taft, Batavia, Lincoln, Sunkist, La Palma, Blue Gum, Orangethorpe, Placentia, Yorba Linda, Associated, and Birch and into the Brea Mall.
