The future has arrived for changing the way Californians travel.

The new Imperial Highway bridge at the Orangethorpe Avenue/Esperanza Road intersection opened Friday, June 19 to both northbound and southbound commuters. The southbound lane of Imperial Highway, between Orangethorpe and La Palma avenues in Anaheim, closed in February to complete construction of the bridge over the train tracks. The $90 million project is on track for completion in 2010.
