Benefits Of Ridesharing

Exploring transportation options that save commuters time and money

OCTA is working to enhance rail safety at 52 railroad crossings in Orange County throughout nine cities. Once construction is complete, cities may apply with the Federal Railroad Administration for a designated quiet zone, which is a section of the railroad where locomotives horns do not need to be routinely sounded.

Work is currently under way at 17 crossings in five cities. To get updates about railroad crossing improvements in your area, join the rail safety mailing list.
