Beach Boulevard Bridge Reconstruction Now Complete

As part of the I-5 Gateway Freeway Improvement Project, the Beach Boulevard overpass was rebuilt in two phases.  Reconstruction of the overpass began on March 19, 2008 and was completed on September 15, 2009. There are now three lanes available in each direction on Beach Boulevard where it crosses I-5. 

The Beach Blvd. on and off-ramps continue to be closed at various times.

Signage is in place to notify motorists of changes in the area including temporary ramp closures, temporary closures of Beach Boulevard and detour signs.
