Environmental Oversight Committee Meetings
The April 1, 2009 Environmental Oversight Committee meeting has been canceled and will resume on Wednesday, May 6.
In October 2007, the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Board of Directors approved the selection of 12 members for the Environmental Mitigation and Resource Protection Oversight Committee.
The Renewed Measure M Early Action Plan calls for the Environmental Freeway Mitigation Program to be launched within the next five years. A total of $244 million in Renewed M funds will be allocated to the freeway mitigation program.
The Environmental Oversight Committee will make recommendations on the allocation of environmental freeway mitigation funds and will monitor the execution of a master agreement between OCTA and state and federal resource agencies.
The 12 members of the Environmental Oversight Committee include:

Judy McKeehan, SWCA Environmental Consultants Adam Probolsky, Probolsky Research Dan Silver, Endangered Habitats League Jonathan Snyder, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Debbie Townsend, California Wildlife Conservation Board Sylvia Vega, Caltrans Erinn Wilson, California Department of Fish and Game
Committee members will serve three-year terms with no term limits.
