OCTA Long Range Transportation Plan

The OCTA Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) is a visionary document that is updated every four years, and looks out 20+ years to identify current and future transportation needs and projects. OCTA has initiated the update of the 2010 LRTP, which will look out to the year 2035, and focus discussion on the implementation of the Renewed Measure M program of projects

On July 24, 2006, OCTA's Board of Directors approved the Final 2006 LRTP and the associated Program Environmental Impact Report (PEIR), which provide a visionary blueprint for transportation improvements in Orange County up to 2030. The PEIR evaluates potential environmental effects of the transportation plan, which includes freeway, arterial streets, transit, and other improvements/programs.

Copies of the LRTP and PEIR are available for review at the OCTA offices, and the electronic files of the LRTP and the PEIR can be downloaded at the below links. If you have any questions regarding the availability, please call (714) 560-5750 or e-mail us at customers@octa.net.
