Get Your Bike Ready

Bike to Work Week is coming May 12-16. It’s your chance to burn calories instead of fossil fuel. Pledge to bike to work. You’ll help yourself stay fit, help improve our air quality, and you’ll be entered to win one of many prizes. Pledge forms are available from your employer, at www.octa.net or by calling (714) 560-5573. For more information on Orange County Bike to Work Week, click here.

Moving Ahead on Signal Synchronization

OCTA is asking the California Transportation Commission for $4 million of the available statewide funds from Proposition 1B to complete signal synchronization projects throughout Orange County. Ten projects totaling 158 miles of roadway will be nominated. You’ll find more information on signal synchronization and the proposed projects by clicking here.

We’d Like Your Input

The West County Connectors Project will create seamless carpool connections among the San Diego (I-405), Garden Grove (SR-22) and San Gabriel River (I-605) freeways. With the project now in final design, we’d like your thoughts on this project and the best way to communicate with you during construction. Take a moment and take the survey at www.octa.net/westcounty.
