By demonstrating project readiness and by partnering with Caltrans, the county and cities, increase advocacy work in Sacramento and Washington, D.C. to ensure Orange County receives its fair share of funds and has an effective voice in the economic stimulus and federal reauthorization process that will determine transportation funding.
Deliver Local Traffic ReliefDevelop a program to assist cities to develop their local projects such as streets and intersections that are an OCTA priority for traffic congestion relief.
Continue Delivery of M2 Early Action PlanMake progress on the transportation improvements under the Renewed Measure M Early Action Plan – freeways, roads, signal synchronization, railroad crossings, transit projects, environmental mitigation and water quality.

Maximize Use of HOV Lanes / Consider HOT LanesContinue advancing continuous access between HOV lanes and general-purpose lanes by converting appropriate existing carpool lanes into HOT lanes and by building new general-purpose lanes.
