A new rapid bus service is on the way.
It’s called Bravo!

OCTA’s Bravo! service is a new approach to traditional bus service. It is designed to decrease travel time for customers and improve travel speed within the three highest ridership corridors. Bravo! buses will offer frequent service, weekdays only, from approximately 5:00 am – 8:00 pm, and will have a distinct identity separate from standard OCTA buses.

Harbor Boulevard Corridor

The Harbor Boulevard corridor will be one of three to be implemented by OCTA within the next two years and is scheduled for implementation in summer 2010.

It will operate over a 22-mile, north-south route between California State University, Fullerton and Newport Beach. with easy access to these key destinations:

  • California State University, Fullerton
  • Fullerton College
  • Fullerton Transportation Center
  • Anaheim Resort Area/Disneyland
  • Triangle Square
  • Newport Beach Pier

Westminster/17th Street Corridor

The Westminster/17th Street Corridor is the second of these projects with implementation scheduled for fall 2010.

This service will operate over a 20-mile, east-west route between The Depot at Santa Ana and Long Beach, with easy access to these key destinations:

  • VA Hospital/California State University, Long Beach
  • Santa Ana Civic Center
  • Santa Ana College
  • The Depot at Santa Ana

Bristol/State College Boulevard Corridor

The Bristol/State College Boulevard Corridor is the last project with implementation scheduled for late 2010.

This route service will link the cities of Brea, Fullerton, Anaheim, Orange, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, and Irvine, and will include five major transportation centers. Station stops along this route will provide easy access to these key destinations:

  • Brea Mall
  • California State University, Fullerton
  • Anaheim Metrolink Station
  • South Coast Plaza
  • Irvine Business Complex
  • UC Irvine (proposed)
  • Irvine Station
