OCTA Bike Festival Advances Cycling Awareness
OCTA’s annual Bike Festival will be held on April 26, 2015 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Each year, thousands of bicycle enthusiasts gather at the Huntington Beach Pier Plaza for a full day of biking fun and networking with local vendors and organizations.
The Bike Festival in Huntington Beach serves as the kick-start for National Bike Month. This year, the theme is Start a Chain Reaction! Whether you ride for personal or environmental health, to save time or money or just for fun – Bike Month in Orange County is the perfect time to encourage others to discover the joy of riding a bike.
As one of Orange County’s healthiest and most inspiring events, the Bike Festival encourages more bicycling and fewer car trips in Orange County to enhance air quality cut down on traffic congestion and improve health and fitness.
We hope to see you out at Pier Plaza for the Bike Festival. This year, there will be a helmet decorating station for kids, a BMX stunt show and a bicycle safety course led by the Huntington Beach Police Department.
