  • Project Background and Status

The San Clemente Pier Station is served by Amtrak on weekdays, and by Amtrak and Metrolink on weekends. This project will enhance the safety of passengers using the station by adding bollard lighting along the length of the platform, where there currently is no lighting. The project also will replace the existing railing at the station with decorative railing consistent with the City of San Clemente's design standards.

OCTA is the lead agency on construction, which began in later October. Work is expected to be completed in March 2017. The cost of construction is estimated to be approximately $364,000 and is funded with federal money.
