Metrolink Stations Offering Text4Next Services
With Text4Next, you can easily find out what time Metrolink trains travel between any two stations along the three lines serving Orange County, the OC Line, IEOC Line and the 91 Line. All you need to know is the phone number to send a text message to (628246), the key word (train) and the station identifier for the two stations you are travelling between. Simply locate the stations you need on the map below, then check the table below for the three-digit station identifier you will need. How do I opt-in to for OCTA’s Text4Next service?
Currently, you can only receive bus information from OCTA’s Text4Next program when you initiate the text message. In the near future, OCTA will be offering customers the option to opt in to OCTA Alerts to receive specific bus route rider alerts simply by texting OCTA to short code 628246 (OCTAGO).
How do I discontinue receiving OCTA SMS messages?
Once you have subscribed to OCTA Alerts, to discontinue receiving Text4Next messages from OCTA, you will simply text “STOP” to 628246 and you will be removed from the list.
