If you love strolling along old wooden piers then be sure to add the San Clemente Pier to your list. Originally built it 1928 it was 1,200 feet long. The pier has had its share of storm damage, the most recent was 1983, but it is back to it's back and ready for sightseeing and fishing.

Downtown is a half-mile walk from the pier to downtown on Avenida Del Mar.
The San Clemente Trolley is not operating at this time due to COVID-19, but the shops and restaurants in Downtown San Clemente are a very short Uber or Lyft ride away if you don’t care to walk the half-mile.
When planning your Daycation to San Clemente we recommend checking the Metrolink train schedule for either the Pier Station or North Beach Station.
