San Juan Capistrano can deliver on both counts. You can easily explore antique stores, galleries and boutiques before finding your way to a nice lunch on a peaceful patio.

Los Rios Shopping and dining

If you cross back over the railroad tracks at the station you'll find yourself in the Los Rios Historic District. Residences date back to 1794, and now home to cute shops such as Las Catrinas and The Cottage Gallery.

There is plenty of shopping along Camino Capistrano, the main street that runs through town. If you love digging through antiques be sure to visit The Old Barn Antique Mall. Break-up shopping with a great lunch. We have suggestions!

Camino Capistrano is under a quarter mile from the station. Most restaurants are along this main avenue.

Train schedules

We always suggest when planning your adventure to check the Metrolink train schedule to San Juan Capistrano. Both the Orange County Line and the Inland Empire Orange County Line serve this destination.
