Relief for Commuters

Add freeway capacity and improve interchanges within key area.

 

Interchange Changes

This projects seeks to add freeway capacity on the SR-91 between SR-57 and SR-55.  Additionally, the plan calls for improvements to major and key interchanges.

Serving Anaheim and Placentia

Lakeview Avenue

Serving Anaheim and Yorba Linda

 











The project will generally be constructed within the existing right of way and coordination will take place with local jurisdictions and communities on specific improvements.

 

Current Congestion

  • 245,000 vehicles per day
  • 22 percent increase in volume estimated
  • This segment of SR-91 expected to carry 300,000 vehicles in future

Benefits

When completed, the project is expected to increase freeway capacity and relieve congestion along this segment of the SR-91.
