Projects eligible for program funding include landscaping and scenic beautification projects and bicycle and pedestrian facilities projects. Funds are distributed on a competitive basis approximately every three years, and agencies’ applications must be for projects above and beyond normal transportation facilities.

The State-Local Partnership Program (SLPP) Formula Grant Call for Projects makes available approximately $20 million in fiscal year 2012-13 for rehabilitation, reconstruction, and construction projects that can be ready to advertise for construction by December 31, 2012. Each eligible Orange County agency will receive a formula share of SLPP. The SLPP funds require a one-to-one match using only the agency’s M2 Fair Share funds.
