Improving the environment & the quality of life in Orange County

Thank You for Biking to Work

We'd like to thank everyone who participated in Bike to Work Month! Orange County commuters pledged to ride their bikes more than 51,000 miles. Thank you for Joining the Bike to Work Movement and showcasing bicycling as a healthy and environmentally friendly transportation option.

With gas prices heading towards $5 a gallon, bicycling to work becomes an attractive money-saving alternative to commuting by automobile," says K.C. Butler, Director, California Bike Commute Month. "Bicycling just one day saves you gas money. Plus, you arrive to work more refreshed, alert, and less stressed!
