Spend your money on books, not transportation.
We can’t do much about tuition and books, but we can give you a discounted OCTA bus pass. The OCTA College Pass (C-Pass) was created for students enrolled in Orange County community colleges, as well as trade and technical colleges, to help reduce the cost of going to school. The C-Pass is a reduced fare bus pass, offering students unlimited rides to campus, work, shopping, the beach, or anywhere they choose on any of OCTA's local routes.
Buy it at registration, use it all term.
You can only purchase a C-Pass from participating schools during registration week, but the pass is good all quarter or term. Your school will have the right 75-Day or 120-Day C-Pass waiting for you.
75-Day Quarter C-Pass
The price for the 75-Day Quarter Pass is only $115 and is valid for 75 consecutive days. The first day the pass is used begins the 75-day period.
120-Day Semester C-Pass
The price for the 120-day Semester Pass is only $185 and is valid for 120 consecutive days. The first day the pass is used begins the 120-day period.
So easy a T.A. can do it.
When you get on the bus, simply swipe your C-Pass in the farebox. That’s it. You can ride anytime, any day, anywhere OCTA goes. No PhD required. To plan your next trip, visit Plan My Trip, our easy online trip planner that will tell you exactly what bus to take and where to catch it.
The sky’s the limit, well, almost. Even something as good as the C-Pass has restrictions. You cannot use the C-Pass on express routes, other transit agency buses or after your college days are over. You must be enrolled a minimum of 9 units a quarter or semester.
So why wait?
