  • Bicycling is a fun, healthy and efficient way to travel throughout Orange County. There are over 1,000 miles of bikeways in the existing regional network with plans to add more. Currently, the bikeways network consists of paved and off-street trails, on-street striped bike lanes and bicycle friendly routes.     OCTA has prioritized the advancement of active transportation in Orange County, which includes bikeways planning, safety programs and community events. Each year, we celebrate National Bike Month in May with local events, bicycling promotions and more.
