Call for Projects

Through various calls for projects, the OCTA makes state, federal and local funding available to the 34 incorporated cities and the county of Orange. Depending on eligibility, local agencies and organizations are also welcomed to apply, but must go through one of the 34 incorporated cities or county. OCTA’s Call for Projects allocates available funds through a competitive process to improve all modes of surface transportation.

The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Board of Directors (Board) approved the release of a call for projects for the Renewed Measure M Project V Community-Based Transit/Circulators Funding Program on November 26, 2012.

The link below provides a copy of the Project V funding application package. Included in this package is the formal application and project guidelines detailing minimum eligibility and required documentation. A scoring sheet and sample cost data are also provided. Completed funding applications are due to OCTA no later than March 29, 2013. Along with a completed project application, agencies are required to provide supporting documentation that will be used to fully evaluate the project submittal.  Programming recommendations will be presented to the Board of Directors in June 2013.

Please submit application packages no later than 5:00 p.m., March 29, 2013 to the following address:
