What is the Speakers Bureau?
The Orange County Transportation Authority is spearheading numerous transportation services and improvements throughout the county. Metrolink has expanded weekday service in 2012, numerous freeway projects are currently under way and the bike-sharing program roll out is just around the corner.
Many projects are funded through Renewed Measure M, which will provide approximately $15 billion over the next 30 years for transportation improvements.
The Speakers Bureau program provides free presentations regarding these and other projects to local groups in the county including civic, business and professional organizations.
The goal of the program is to educate Orange County residents on transportation initiatives and project planning. It plays an essential role in disseminating vital information to the community.
